Barbara is a researcher, advocate, and co-founder of the Foundation, driven by a deep commitment to improving the lives of women affected by endometriosis. Inspired by lived experience and loss, she works to advance awareness, equitable healthcare access, and research that centres women’s voices.
The board guides the foundation’s mission and governance.
Stellah Wambui
Co-founder & Programs Director
Stellah is a dedicated women’s health advocate and co-founder of the Foundation. She has led grassroots endometriosis awareness efforts through community outreach, media engagement, and direct support to women living with the condition. Her leadership, entrepreneurial background, and deep community roots strengthen the Foundation’s mission to advance awareness and equitable care.
Kennedy Aringo
Trustee & Partnerships Lead
Kennedy is a Trustee of the Foundation and a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in counselling psychology, youth development, and community transformation. As a practicing psychologist and mediator, he brings expertise in mental wellness, community focused leadership, and strategic growth to strengthen the Foundation’s impact.
Victor Simiyu
Trustee & Strategy Lead
Victor brings strong expertise in governance and financial management, ensuring accountability and long-term sustainability within the Foundation. As a Trustee, he provides strategic oversight and sound financial stewardship, supporting our mission to expand awareness, improve access to care, and deliver meaningful support to women and girls affected by endometriosis.
